What does Newquay have to offer...
Newquay really is the gateway to fun and relaxation, and is known as the surfing capital of Europe. The British + world surfing championships are currently held on Fistral Beach. Newquay boasts some of the finest views our country has to offer.
Eating out
As well as its surfing, Newquay has become famous for its large choice of restaurants and night life . Watergate Bay lives up the road, home to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant, together with the Beach Hut and the Watergate Bay Brasserie, part of a food revolution that‘s swept Cornwall. There’s Padstow further east, the site of Rick Stein’s famous seafood restaurant. Within Newquay, four of the most popular restaurants are Lewinnick Lodge at Pentire, Fistral Blu at Fistral Bay, Maharajah in Cliff Road and the Dolphin Restaurant close to the harbour.Local links
